Last night London's style savvy descended upon The Savoy Hotel to celebrate this year's British Fashion Awards.
Naturally the red carpet was graced by some of fashions elite; from the likes of top models Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne to talented designers Erdem and Valentino.
Alexa Chung looked every bit the style icon; wearing a simple but still beautiful Simone Rocha black lace skater dress paired with statement boots by Nicholas Kirkwood and an Anya Hindmarch bag whilst also taking home the accolade for 'British Style Icon' for the third year running.
'Model of the Year' was awarded to none other than über cool and quirky model Cara Delevingne. Looking stunning in a green metallic Burberry mini; it's no wonder after walking every catwalk of every fashion week this autumn she scooped up the coveted prize.
Verity: Cara is my model of the hour; so much so that we now have the same eyebrows. She represents a new kind of supermodel; a sort of 21st century Kate.
Couture hats were taken off many a time to congratulate each winner; one in particular being that of Jonathan Anderson who claimed the award for 'Emerging Talent - Ready to Wear' for his brand J.W.Anderson.
Scarlett: Jonathan Anderson is an immensely talented and upcoming designer. Each year his collections inspire and I was overly pleased when he decided to collaborate with Topshop.
Other guests who we thought looked simply delectable were that of model Jourdan Dunn in customised Topshop, Gemma Arterton in designer of the night Stella McCartney, Edie Campbell in a gorgeous pink Christopher Kane dress and super 'it' couple Jamie Campbell Bower & Lilly Collins both in Mulberry.
