It would appear that we have been very good girls this year; so much so that we're spending our Christmas cheer in dainty but stylish boutique moth.

Located within Manchester's popular district of West Didsbury, moth occupies a quaint spot along trendy Burton road; seemingly alluring the public with its carefully selected collection of fashion accessories and luxurious homeware.

Scarlett: Once you take a step inside moth you're taken aback by its eclectic mix of French ornate chandeliers, interesting ceramics and statement jewellery which is then all tied together within a rustic backdrop of wood and fur. The handbags add a pop of colour to an otherwise neutral store.
Moth describes their store as 'simple, pared down and comfortable', offering customer's products with a 'timeless, understated quality' as well as 'effortless' but 'modest luxury.' A welcome break from the monotonous atmosphere we often feel when browsing through the high street.

With its prime location, beautiful interior and intricate, unique merchandise you may have come to the same conclusion that we did - 'strictly look but don't touch'

Verity: We automatically presumed that there was no chance of having the feeling of a soft reindeer skin rug under our feet and affording this month's weekly food shopping; until we took a closer look at the hand written price tags. Each item is offered at a very tempting price; including an intimate collection of sophisticated stationary and elegant jewellery all for under £30.

Verity: I've been looking for the perfect clutch bag for a while, one that is both simple and stylish but still acts as the key feature in an outfit. Moth have a selection of bags that meet all my needs and won't cause any harm to my bank balance.

We highly recommend that you reconsider battling through the crowds of the city centre and take a trip to this gorgeous boutique. Away from the relaxed atmosphere of the shop, moth have a petite online store that provides a small taster of the main collection which can be viewed here.
