patron saint of Daft Punk.

Two words, Daft and Punk.

The French, electro duo's eagerly-awaited comeback was brought to reality earlier this week, at the only place seemingly appropriate; California's hottest festival, Coachella.
Premièring the ad for the track 'Get Lucky', taken from their upcoming album Random Access Memories, the pair are showcased performing alongside Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, in none other than custom-made threads from the house of Saint Laurent.

It would seem that Laurent's new creative director, Hedi Slimane, doesn't take his time when it comes to drawing in on cool credentials. After providing the soundtrack for Slimane's début show, back in October last year; the heavily-sequinned twosome will now be seen sporting a new, shimmery attire for their upcoming shows, in the form of Saint Laurent's iconic 'Le Smoking' tuxedo. Call it a small favour.

The dance legends will also appear alongside the likes of Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson, as the new faces (helmets?) for the Saint Laurent Music Project ad campaign. Funky, electro-fuelled music to our ears.
