Just when we thought the blessed matrimony between high street and designer was coming to an end; this week H&M proudly announced that they will be collaborating with highly sought after Parisian designer, Isabel Marant.
With the news arriving to us like sweet music to our ears, the coveted collection is set to hit stores and online this November; exactly a year since the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M success.
“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality" - Isabel Marant.
Appointed as H&M's most popular collab to date; Marant's signature style and ultra French chic will be mimicked throughout a wardrobe of must-have pieces, for both women and teenagers, as well as a menswear collection, a first for the designer. Delivering a veritable mixture of bohemian charm, urban edge and a rock 'n' rebel attitude, a certain je ne sais quoi; November certainly can not come quick enough.
